The key to choosing the right brick block making machine for you is to "be guided by your own needs and balance the four key dimensions of 'capacity, product, cost, and site'." This means neither blindly pursuing high automation (to avoid costly waste) nor neglecting core performance (to prevent insufficient production capacity or high defective rates). You should follow the logical process of "clarifying your needs → matching the equipment type → examining key parameters → evaluating support and after-sales service." The specific steps are as follows:

1. Step 1: Clarify Your Core Needs (the key to avoiding "buying the wrong machine").

Before selecting equipment, clearly define your production goals and constraints; this is the prerequisite for all subsequent decisions. Focus on the following four questions:

1. Capacity Requirement: "How many blocks do you need to produce per day/month?"

Capacity directly determines the scale of the equipment and should be determined based on order volume, market demand, and expansion plans for the next one to two years (to avoid buying too small and leaving it inadequate, or too large and leaving it unused). Small demand (500-2000 standard blocks per day, such as for rural self-built houses and small workshops): High automation is not required; small- to medium-sized equipment can meet the needs.
Medium demand (2000-8000 blocks per day, such as for regional building materials stores and small- to medium-sized projects): A fully automatic main unit with basic support (automatic batching and mixing) is required.
Large demand (over 10,000 blocks per day, such as for municipal projects and large building materials companies): A full-process production line (including automatic stacking and steam curing) is required.
Note: "Standard blocks" are based on 390×190×190mm hollow blocks. When producing smaller bricks (such as paving bricks), production capacity can be calculated based on the number of blocks produced per mold (e.g., if a single mold produces 6 paving bricks, production capacity can be increased sixfold). 2. Product Type: "What type of blocks will be produced?"
The molding requirements (pressure, mold, vibration frequency) for different blocks vary significantly, so it's important to clearly define the product direction in advance to avoid equipment incompatibility:

Conventional products (hollow blocks, standard bricks): Most equipment is compatible, with the mold's versatility being the key consideration.

Special products (permeable bricks, colored pavement bricks, large load-bearing blocks, special-shaped blocks): Choose equipment with flexible mold changes and adjustable molding pressure. For example, permeable bricks require high-frequency, low-amplitude vibration to maintain porosity, while large load-bearing blocks require high-pressure molding (≥25MPa).

If you plan to switch between multiple products (e.g., producing both hollow blocks and pavement bricks), prioritize equipment with convenient mold changes (changeover time ≤ 30 minutes to avoid frequent downtime for adjustments). 3. Site Constraints: "How much space is available for the equipment and supporting equipment?"

The equipment footprint includes not only the main machine but also areas for raw material storage, mixing, molding, curing, and finished product storage to avoid the situation of "buying equipment but not being able to fit it":

Small manual/semi-automatic machines: The main machine occupies approximately 5-10 square meters, suitable for a small site of 50-100 square meters (such as a rural courtyard);

Medium-sized fully automatic machines (including batching and mixing): The total footprint is approximately 100-300 square meters (separate raw material storage and curing sheds are required);

Large production lines (including palletizing and steam curing kilns): Require at least 500 square meters. The site must be flat (to facilitate the layout of conveying equipment) and close to a water source/power source (steam curing requires large amounts of water and high-power equipment).

Also, please note: The site must have a "transportation channel" (for forklifts and trucks to enter and exit), and the curing area must be free of water to prevent moisture from accumulating in the blocks.
