Impact Crusher (Impact Breaker) Core Overview：
An impact crusher is a high-efficiency crushing equipment that utilizes impact energy for medium and fine crushing operations. It is widely used in sand and gravel aggregate production, mining, and construction waste treatment. Its core advantages lie in its large crushing ratio (up to 40:1), excellent finished product particle shape (mainly cubic), and adjustable discharge particle size, making it particularly suitable for producing high-quality building aggregates.
The impact crusher adopts a combined crushing principle of "stone-on-iron + stone-on-stone":
The electric motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed (typically 1000-3000 rpm) via a V-belt.
The material enters the crushing chamber and is crushed by the high-speed impact of the hammer plates on the rotor, thus gaining enormous kinetic energy.
The material being crushed is thrown tangentially towards the impact plate, resulting in secondary impact crushing.
The rebounding material returns to the impact zone of the hammer, repeating the crushing process until it reaches the required particle size and is discharged from the outlet.
The discharge particle size can be controlled by adjusting the gap between the impact plate and the hammer or by adjusting the rotor speed.
