The hollow block forming machine's workflow revolves around "feeding - pressing - demolding - conveying." The core process is to ensure the raw materials are densely packed using static pressure/vibration pressure, while maintaining the hole shape using a core rod. The specific steps are as follows:
Raw Material Pretreatment
Cement, aggregate (sand/fly ash), and water are added to the mixer according to the proper ratio (e.g., cement: sand: fly ash: water = 1:3:1:0.5). Mix for 3-5 minutes until uniform (moisture content must be controlled to avoid clumping or over-drying).
Filling
A feeding system (belt/screw conveyor) transports the mixed raw materials to a filling cart. The cart moves along a track and evenly fills the mold box with a core rod (the core rod is pre-inserted into the mold box to reserve the holes). Some models feature vibratory filling (a gentle vibration ensures a denser filling and prevents gaps around the holes). Pressing and Molding
A hydraulic system drives the ram downward, applying pressure to the raw materials in the mold box through a combination of static and vibration. (The static pressure provides basic strength, while the vibration realigns the raw material particles, increasing density.) The molding pressure is typically 10-25 MPa (adjusted based on the required strength of the block; higher pressure is required for load-bearing blocks). The pressure is maintained for 3-8 seconds to ensure stable hole shape and prevent deformation after demolding.
Demolding and Conveying
After molding is complete, the ram returns upward, and the core rod is slowly withdrawn (to avoid cracking the edges of the block hole). The demolding cylinder then pushes the mold box upward, ejecting the formed hollow block and placing it on a conveyor belt for transport to the curing area (natural curing for 7-28 days or steam curing for 24 hours).
