Daily maintenance and upkeep methods for concrete mixing plants
I. Maintenance and Care of the Mixing Unit:
1. Daily pre-shift inspection: Before starting the machine, check whether there is any residual concrete or debris in the mixing drum, clean the adhesive material on the drum wall and blades, and ensure that the mixing space is unobstructed; check the tightness of the mixing blades and liners. If any bolts are found to be loose, tighten them in time. If the blades or liners are worn (such as thinning or edge damage), replace them in time to avoid affecting the uniformity of mixing.
2. Lubrication system maintenance: Check the oil level and quality of the lubricating oil tank daily to ensure that the lubricating oil is sufficient and free from deterioration and impurities; according to the equipment manual, regularly add the specified type of lubricating oil to the bearings, gears and other moving parts of the mixing host to ensure smooth operation of the parts and reduce wear; check whether the lubrication pipeline is unobstructed and whether there are any leaks, and deal with pipeline blockages or leaks in a timely manner.
3. Cleaning and heat dissipation: After each day's work, rinse the inner wall of the mixing drum, blades and discharge port with clean water to thoroughly remove residual concrete and prevent concrete from hardening and sticking together, making it difficult to clean; check whether the cooling fan and heat sink of the main motor are clean and free of dust and debris to ensure good motor heat dissipation and avoid malfunctions due to overheating.
II. Maintenance and Care of the Batching System
1. Aggregate batching machine maintenance: Check the batching machine's hoppers daily for material accumulation or blockage, especially the vibrator on the hopper wall. Ensure the vibration is normal and prevent aggregate from clumping. Check the batching machine's belt conveyor, clean any residual aggregate from the belt, and check the belt tension. If the belt is loose, adjust it promptly. If the belt surface is damaged or cracked, replace it immediately. Check the batching machine's weighing sensors, ensuring they are securely fixed and free from collisions or deformation. Regularly calibrate the weighing accuracy.
2. Maintenance of powder metering system: Check the level gauges of cement silos and fly ash silos daily to ensure accurate signal transmission and avoid material shortages or overflows due to incorrect level display; check the powder conveying pipeline (screw conveyor) and clean the residual powder in the pipeline to prevent clumping and blockage; check the weighing scale body to ensure that there are no foreign objects entangled and the support points are stable, and regularly calibrate the metering accuracy to ensure that the metering error of cement, fly ash and other powders is within the allowable range.
3. Admixture metering system maintenance: Check the liquid level in the admixture tank daily to ensure that the admixture is sufficient and free from sedimentation or stratification. If sedimentation occurs, clean it promptly. Check the admixture delivery pump and pipeline to ensure that there are no leaks in the pipeline and that the pump is operating normally. 1. Aggregate conveyor belt: Check the belt surface daily for scratches, damage, and cracks at the edges; check the belt rollers and idlers for smooth operation and abnormal noises. If jamming occurs, clean up debris or replace parts in time; check the belt for misalignment regularly, adjust the roller position, and ensure smooth belt operation; after work, clean the residual aggregate on the belt to prevent corrosion or wear.
2. Powder screw conveyor: Check the wear of the screw blades daily. If the blades are severely worn (e.g., reduced diameter or deformation), replace them promptly. Check the motor and reducer of the conveyor for normal operation, abnormal noise, or overheating. Clean the residual powder inside the conveyor casing to prevent clumping and blockage, ensuring smooth powder conveying. Check the seal of the conveyor to prevent powder leakage that could cause environmental pollution and material waste.
3. Concrete pump (if equipped): Check the hydraulic oil level and quality of the pump daily to ensure the hydraulic system is operating normally; check the connection of the conveying pipeline for secureness, leaks, and wear. Replace any damaged pipelines promptly and tighten any loose connections immediately; after work, rinse the conveying pipeline with clean water to thoroughly remove any residual concrete and prevent it from hardening and clogging.
